1917 S Buffalo Nickel. Scarce. This coin displays a full but weak horn. This coin has been treated with a chemical process and is absolutely genuine. Has kind of a matte or satin surface. I remember years ago there was a product the would produce an acid (and ugly) date on dateless Buffalo Nickels. That is not what was done here.
